Debit MasterCard Portfolio Optimization Toolkit
Like I previously said, I usually say that I won't be able to design and code an application for anyone. But this is one of those times where you could say that I did just that. I really don't consider it an "application" but, in many ways it really is.
My role: MasterCard every year needs to get out all of the materials they produce and make available to their merchants. Envelopes, insert letters, and so forth. They were sending out a gigantic books out to something close to 5000 merchants. By showcasing these on a DVD they were able to save somewhere in the millions of dollars. They gave what they saved on this to me as a bonus. I only do this stuff because I like it. Just kidding, they were very happy with the result and the response. So much so that they commissioned 3 more toolkits!
Because of the shear number of items that were needed to be kept track of, freelancers were hired as well additional codiding and design support. Without the help from these guys it would have never gotten completed. That or I would'nt have slept.
Software used: After Effects, Shine, Flash CS3, ActionScript, Photoshop,and a couple of extenstions to help with the menuing system
